Infographic: Articulate Storyline 360 Accessibility Report

Overview

This infographic evaluates the accessibility capabilities and limitations of Articulate Storyline 360 and summarizes key considerations instructional designers should account for when developing accessible eLearning experiences.

Purpose / Intended Audience

The infographic was created for instructional designers and eLearning developers who use, or are considering using, Articulate Storyline 360. Its purpose is to present accessibility information in a concise, visual format that highlights both the tool’s capabilities and the designer’s responsibility for creating inclusive learning experiences.

Process

I reviewed Storyline 360’s accessibility features and organized the findings into key areas, including assistive technology support, keyboard navigation, multimedia accessibility, and design considerations. I then synthesized the information into a visual infographic in Piktochart, using clear sections, icons, and concise text to make the content easier to scan and understand.

Outcome

The completed infographic provides a practical overview of Storyline 360 accessibility while emphasizing that accessible design is not automatic. It highlights specific actions designers can take, such as providing meaningful alternative text, supporting keyboard navigation, adding captions, maintaining sufficient color contrast, and using clear language.

Design Reflection

One of the main challenges was presenting technical accessibility information without making the infographic overly dense. I focused on simplifying the content while preserving the most important findings and actionable recommendations. I also included an accessible text version of the infographic so that the final product itself better reflected the inclusive design principles being discussed.
